Thursday night June 30 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Beethoven’s “7th Symphony” and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson’s “Sinfonietta No. 2”. Also on the program music of Purcell, Kidane and Salmenhaara.  

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Dvorak’s Op. 65 “Piano Trio in F Minor” on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”.  At 8:00 you’ll hear music for “April Fools’ Day” on “Early Music Now with Sara Schneider”.

There was an enormous uptick in the recording of Baroque music in the 1950s.
