Coming up, on The Atomic Age Cocktail Party, we celebrate the music of George & Ira Gershwin and look at how Gershwin standard were approached in the hi-fi era. We’ll hear from Mel Tormé, June Christy, Duke Ellington and many more.
Evening Concert

Wednesday night November 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9F/HD1 you’ll hear Sir Simon Rattle lead the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Janacek’s “Sinfonietta” and Dvorak’s Opus 72 set of “Slavonic Dances”.

Our first John Frayne Classical Music Graduate Student Work Experience fellow, Julia Escobar, guest hosts this very special Prairie Performances, curated by her and featuring the fantastic flute.
Classics of the Phonograph

On this very special edition, John Frayne will be joined in studio by Julia Escobar—the first ever John Frayne Classical Music Grad Fellow—who will share her favorite flute recordings from the 20th century.
