Democrat Benjamin Webb of Normal announced on his website that he will drop out of the 13th district congressional race.

Webb is a 28-year old teacher at Normal University High School and was one of five candidates seeking the 2018 Democrat nomination to run against incumbent Republican Rodney Davis.

With Webb’s withdrawal, the four Democrats still in the race are Dr. David Gill of Bloomington, Betsy Londrigan of Springfield, Erik Jones of Edwardsville and Jonathan Ebel of Urbana.
