Vice President Biden To Visit U of I Thursday

Vice President Joe Biden will visit the University of Illinois' Urbana campus next Thursday. The White House said in a statement that Biden will discuss sexual assault prevention as part of the ‘It’s On Us’ campaign.
The speech is about "the importance of preventing sexual assualt on college campuses across the country."
The campaign "seeks to engage college students and all members of campus communities including those at the University of Illinois - in preventing sexual assault."
President Obama began the initiative in 2014 as sexual assaults on college campuses became a frequent topic of news coverage.
Further details about Biden's trip were not immediately available.
