Lyric Theatre at Illinois is kicking off another season of performances at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on the U of I Urbana campus this weekend.
Their English language production of the Engelbert Humperdinck opera “Hansel and Gretel” opened Thursday night at Krannert’s Tryon Festivial Theatre, with additional performances Friday night, Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon.
Directors and performers from Lyric Theatre stopped by the WILL studios earlier this week for a preview. Alex Munger is the pianist accompanying on all tracks.
