As we approach the holidays, we’ll talk about the importance of found family — especially for people who are LGBTQ, and might be estranged from blood relations. Plus, the anxiety afflicting members of the community, especially people who are trans, anticipating the new administration in Washington. 

For a conversation covering the history of rights for those marginalized within the U.S., the harassment of LGBTQ+ communities, and more, we were joined by representatives of organizations that fight for social justice and the founder of an Illinois LGBTQ newspaper.
