Wednesday night August 14 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Bass player Victor Wooten is the soloist in his work he calls “The Three Lessons”. Thomas Wilkins guest conducts.  Also on the program Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story”.

Thursday night January 18 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 … it’s the third episode in a series new-to-WILL: “The Sound of 13” hosted by Garrett McQueen”. It’s a program that examines the intersection of the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.  

Wednesday night January 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and Aaron Copland’s “Piano Concerto” with soloist Paul Lewis and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra led by Domingo Hindoyan.  Also on the program Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances”.

Monday night July 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Leonard Bernstein conducts the Philharmonic in his “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story” and the Overture to Candide.  Also on the program Copland’s “Clarinet Concerto”.

Tuesday night July 5 at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast” with their Independence Day program “Variations on “America”. You’ll hear Gershwin’s “Cuban Overture”, Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story”, and more.
