You’ll hear a Grammy-winning performance of Mahler’s “8th Symphony”, the “Symphony of a Thousand”, made in Vienna in 1971 featuring vocal soloists Heather Harper and Lucia Popp among others. Sir Georg Solti conducted the performance.
