Also to be heard: Samuel Barber's "1st Essay for Orchestra" and John Corigliano's "One Sweet Morning".
You'll also hear Mozart's "Overture to the Magic Flute", Copland's "Clarinet Concerto", "Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and more from the New York Philharmonic.
"American Dances" includes music by Barber, Gershwin, O'Connor and Tsontakis, while "This Place is a Zoo" has music by Telemann, Dowland, Buxtehude and others.
On the program are (Bernstein's) The Symphonic Suite from "On the Waterfront", (Barber's) "Violin Concerto" and (Rachmaninov's) "Symphonic Dances".
