Graduate transfer AJ Bush ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns and threw for another in his return to the lineup, as Illinois used a big ground game to beat Rutgers 38-17 Saturday.

Gus Edwards rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns as Rutgers ended a 16-game losing streak in the Big Ten with a 35-24 win over Illinois on Saturday. 

Malcolm Hill scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds as Illinois cruised to an 82-66 victory over Rutgers on Tuesday night. Illinois snaps a two-game skid while the Scarlet Knights have lost 13 straight games. Maverick Morgan added 17 points for the Fighting Illini.
 

Despite their 3-9 record in the Big Ten Conference, Illinois' men's basketball squad is favored to defeat Rutgers Tuesday night at the State Farm Center.

It took three overtimes, but the Illinois men's basketball team survived Rutgers for a Big Ten road win.
