Alpesh Chauhan leads the BBC Symphony Orchestra in Bruckner’s “9th Symphony” and Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini” with soloist Stephen Hough.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Alexander Romanovsky is the piano soloist in Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini”. Alan Gilbert conducts. Also on the program Act II from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” ballet and Martinu’s “4th Symphony”.
