Thursday night October 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra”.  Music Director Manfred Honeck leads the group in Glinka’s “Overture to ‘Ruslan and Ludmilla’” and Tchaikovsky’s “4th Symphony”.   Also on the program Brahms’ “1st Piano Concerto” with soloist Helene Grimaud.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. Leif Ove Andsnes is the soloist in Mozart’s “22nd Piano Concerto”. Manfred Honeck guest conducts.  Also on the program the Nowak edition of Bruckner’s “4th Symphony, the Romantic”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Lars Vogt is the soloist in Schumann’s “Piano Concerto in A minor”. Pinchas Zukerman conducts.  Also on the program Bruckner’s “9th Symphony”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Arabella Steinbacher is the soloist in Berg’s “Violin Concerto”. Manfred Honeck guest conducts. Also on the program Schubert’s “Great” C Major Symphony and Webern’s orchestration of a Bach Ricercar.

She plays the concerto with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
