Coming to us from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the program also includes Glinka's "Ruslan and Ludmila" Overture and Bernstein's "Symposium after Plato"
This month, the birth month of Leonard Bernstein, the New York Philharmonic celebrates LB's 100th birth anniversary.
On the program are (Bernstein's) The Symphonic Suite from "On the Waterfront", (Barber's) "Violin Concerto" and (Rachmaninov's) "Symphonic Dances".
