The UI Trustees executive committee rejected a $400,000 bonus for outgoing chancellor Phyllis Wise, along with her resignation.  She'll be reassigned as an advisor to President Timothy Killeen, who tapped Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean Barbara Wilson to replace Wise as interim chancellor.

Outgoing U of I President Bob Easter will step down as an administrator - for good this time - after weekend commencement ceremonies.  He talked with Jeff Bossert about being tapped to lead the school in 2012, and what he's learned since.
