Music Director Riccardo Muti conducts the CSO in Rachmaninoff’s “2nd Symphony” and Wagner’s “Overture to Tannhauser”. Also on the program Jessie Montgomery’s “Transfigure to Grace”.

Wednesday night July 3 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the first program in a new series from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Igor Levit is the soloist in Gershwin’s “Piano Concerto in F”. Elim Chan conducts. Also on the program Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances”.
Tuesday night June 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. The featured work is Carl Orff’s “Carmina burana” led by guest conductor Osmo Vänskä. You’ll also hear Rautavaara’s “Cantus Arcitus” and Jessie Montgomery’s “Banner”.
Sunday night June 9 the Evening Concert starts at 5:00 o’clock with the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”, followed at 6:00 by the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”, at 7:00 by Fiesta, and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.
