Voters headed to the polls for municipal elections around the state today. Here are the results of some key local races.

The April 2 election gives voters in Champaign a chance to decide who will sit in three at-large city council seats for the next four years. They have eight candidates to choose from.

Azark David Cobbs is a past candidate for the Champaign City Council and Champaign Unit Four school board. But this time, he’s running to be the mayor of Champaign.

Champaign Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen is asking voters to elect her to a second term, so she can continue to work on projects she says have helped the city grow and improve. Feinen, an attorney, is facing challenger Azark David Cobbs in the April 2nd municipal election.
