A stopgap spending plan will keep the lights on at motor services facilities in Illinois. The bipartisan measure passed the House on Wednesday, and the Senate's headed to Springfield on Monday to vote on it. 

A new driver services facility is opening in Champaign this month after the former office closed due to carbon-dioxide levels. The new center will open in Champaign on August 11th.
