Danville is the latest central Illinois city to set local regulations for recreational cannabis.

Danville Mayor Rickey Williams Junior says one of his goals as he prepares to start a full term is to get new police and fire chiefs in place – replacing the position of public safety director.

The Rantoul Village Board has confirmed the appointment of Danville mayor Scott Eisenhauer as their new village administrator, succeeding Rick Snider.
