WFMT Orchestra Series: Orchestras from the European Broadcasting Union

Wednesday night October 2 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL, 90.9FM/HD1 it’s first program in a new series from the European Broadcast Union. You’ll hear the Vienna Philharmonic led by Riccardo Muti in audience favorites like Brahms’ “Hungarian Dances” and Grieg’s “Morning” from “Peer Gynt”.

Guest conductor Nathalie Stutzmann makes her Heinz Hall debut leading the orchestra in Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony. Also on the program Brahms’ “Violin Concerto” with soloist Daniel Lozakovich.
