From the archives you’ll hear Ravel’s “Noble and Sentimental Waltzes” and Carl Nielsen’s “Clarinet Concerto” with soloist Anthony McGill. Former Music Director Alan Gilbert conducts.  

Thursday night March 14 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear another episode of “The Sound of 13”, a program that investigates the intersection between the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.  

Monday night July 31 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. From concerts recorded in 2015 you’ll hear soloist Anthony McGill play Nielsen’s “Clarinet Concerto”. Alan Gilbert conducts.  Also on the program Ravel’s “Noble and Sentimental Waltzes”.
