On this week's Prairie Performances, Friday at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9, salute to America's heritage with a musical biography of William Grant Still, also known as the “Dean of Afro-American Composers.” In the second portion of the program we hear a concert with the Millikin-Decatur Symphony conducted by Michael Luxner. The orchestra will feature a selection of music from George Gershwin, Charles Ives, and Aaron Copland.
