The Mahomet-Seymour School Board is expected to approve a new school superintendent at a special meeting Monday evening.

A district news release says the candidate to be voted on is Lindsey Hall. She’s the current superintendent of the Morton school district in Tazewell County.

Hall worked as the principal of Mahomet-Seymour Junior High School from 1997 to 2005, before leaving for administrative posts in DeKalb and Morton.

Mahomet-Seymour School Board President Max McComb said in the district’s news release that Hall “stood out in a field of very qualified candidates”.

The Mahomet-Seymour School Board meets Monday, November 7th, at 6 P-M, at Middletown Prairie Elementary School, located near U-S Route 150 and Churchhill Road in Mahomet.
