Lyric Theatre Brings ‘Crazy For You’ To Krannert

Lyric Theatre at Illinois’ final production of the semester is 1992’s “Crazy for You,” which takes the music of George and Ira Gershwin and uses it in a charming musical set in 1930’s Nevada.
“Crazy for You” opens Thursday night at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts in Urbana. Illinois Public Media’s Brian Moline spoke with director Sarah Wigley, choreographer Charlie Maybee, and cast member Colleen Bruton, who plays Polly Baker.
