Body Found In Crystal Lake Identified

The Champaign County Coroner has identified the man whose body was discovered Monday in Urbana’s Crystal Lake. 

Through an initial autopsy, Coroner Duane Nortrup said 30-year-old Antonio Crumpton's death was consistent with drowning.

He said there were no signs of injuries or foul play.  Crumpon was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:45 p.m. Monday.

An inquest may be held at a later date. 

The incident remains under investigation by the coroner's office and Urbana Police.
