An Urbana native is pitching for the Chicago Cubs this season, the Cubs’ winningest season since 1910. Spencer Patton has had a long, winding road to the major leagues. He joined Lisa Bralts, John Steinbacher, and Brian Moline this week on Illinois Public Media’s “Bandwagon” sports podcast to discuss his journey to the big leagues, and his upbringing in central Illinois.
