Litigating Loss - and the Post-Crash Lawsuits Against Boeing

In March 2019, an Ethiopian Airlines flight flew erratically on take-off, then crashed and killed the people on board. This was the second crash of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 in less than six months. Litigation is part of the aftermath of the Boeing crashes. Not just one lawsuit, but lots of lawsuits, many brought in Illinois courts. This radio commentary looks at what litigation can do - and can’t - when litigating this type of loss.
