The Gulf of Mexico Since the British Petroleum Oil Disaster
It’s been a little over two years since the explosion on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. The accident killed eleven men working on the oil platform and released millions of barrels of oil into the waters of the Gulf. We’ll look back to the events of 2010 and talk about the conditions in the Gulf waters two years later. Our guest will be Doctor Larry McKinney, Executive Director of the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A and M University.
