A fascinating program that mixes West and East on the “Evening Concert”
Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert” from Bonn with compositions that combine western classical music with classical music of India. You’ll hear “Meetings Along the Edge” a collaboration between Ravi Shankar and Philip Glass plus the premiere of “Kismet” for orchestra, percussion and bansuri.
