Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Bach’s “Cantata No. 82” and Haydn’s “18th Piano Trio” on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 8:00 you’ll hear music from the court of Emperor Maximilian the First on “Early Music Now”.

Song and Dance at the Imperial Court
The centerpiece of this week's show is a 2019 release from Per-Sonat and Sabine Lutzenberger celebrating the superb music at the court of Emperor Maximilian I. We'll hear songs by Ludwig Senfl and Heinrich Isaac, and dances collected by the emperor's daughter, Duchess Margaret of Austria. We'll also hear the Tallis Scholars perform Optime Pastor, a motet composed for a meeting between Pope Leo X and Maximilian's chancellor.
