Leonard Slatkin conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in an “All-American” program
Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Guest Conductor Leonard Slatkin leads the group in Barber’s “Overture to the ‘School for Scandal’” and Gershwin’s “An American in Paris”. Also on the program, Anne Akiko-Meyers is the violinist in Mason Bates’ “Violin Concerto”.
