Emanuel Ax plays Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto with the San Francisco Symphony
Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT) conducting. Emanuel Ax is the soloist in Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto. The program also features works from the Symphony’s November 2014 CD release “Masterpieces in Miniature”: Rachmaninoff’s “Vocalise”, Sibelius’ “Valse triste”, and others.
