February 15 Roundup: Settlement in Sonya Massey Case and Urbana’s mayoral candidates make their cases

SPRINGFIELD (AP) — Attorneys for the family of Sonya Massey say a $10 million settlement from county officials in Illinois is the “first step in getting full justice” for the Black woman fatally shot by a sheriff's deputy. An attorney says the settlement from Sangamon County will go to Massey's two teenage children.
