Behind the hiring:  Expanding diversity in employment on university campuses

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is the largest employer in Champaign County, with more than 12,000 employees. Some of them earned a degree through the university or other institutions. Others have pursued alternative paths, prioritizing employment. But does earning a degree increase your chances of employment at the university? Should individuals without a degree pursue employment opportunities elsewhere?
