These are the words of Rabbi Sandra Lawson in her reflection on why some Black Americans are choosing not to protest right now. On April 5, the national "Hands Off" moment focused on opposing the Trump administration's policies, but Black activists and creators found other ways to protest.  

In this segment of Dialogue, Lawson shares what inspired her Substack essay and opens up about burnout, solidarity and what resistance can look like beyond the streets.
