Clara Haskil was one of the foremost interpreters of the piano music of Mozart after World War II. Her playing was noted for its sensitivity and intimacy. Chicago-born Rosalyn Tureck rose to become high priestess of Bach's music played on the piano. Her performances of the "Goldberg Variations" were major cultural events. On Saturday at 11, we will sample the artistry of these famous performers.
