Going Moog (114)

Atomic Age logo with an illustration of various electronic music equipment. Text reads

This week, we’re spotlighting all the strange and wonderful music that was made by the Moog synthesizer, which takes its namesake from Robert Moog who invented it in 1964. The Moog synthesizer was the first of its kind commercially available and was really a game changer. And for those who were part of the Space Age Pop school of music, it opened up the floodgates to a whole new world of sound. We’ll hear from Perrey & Kingsley, The Moog Machine, and Wendy Carlos, and many more.
