Will A Second COVID-19 Wave Hit This Winter?

As we go to air October 15, 2020, there have been more than 332,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, and more than 9,000 people in our state have lost their lives to the disease. As much as we would like all of this to end and COVID-19 to just go away —  the pandemic will not be taking any time off for the holidays. Like the Christmas decorations already on display at your local big box home store, the second wave of COVID-19 seems like it’s already here — with a spike in cases in many parts of Illinois.

Winter is coming. Meeting outdoors is less appealing by the day. The 21st spoke to some experts to get some advice on how to safely navigate this next phase of the pandemic.
