Where does Illinois’ cannabis industry stand?

The process to issue cannabis dispensary licenses has gotten caught up in a string of lawsuits over the past few years, but sometime this month, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation will hold its next social equity lottery for cannabis dispensary licenses. About 2,700 applicants are competing for just 55 licenses. 

To reflect on the state of the marijuana industry in Illinois, we were joined by a panel of cannabis advocates.
