What does gender-affirming care for adults actually involve?

Last week, The 21st Show unpacked gender-affirming care for trans youth, we were joined by doctors, experts, and young trans people to - what it is, what it isn’t, and what difference it can make. However, a handful of states, such as Missouri and Florida, have tried to go further in banning gender-affirming care for trans adults. As we tried to shed light on what gender-affirming care for trans youth can look like, today we’re going to spend our program unpacking what it can look like for adults.
