Should Masks Be Mandatory In Schools This Fall?
On July 27, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released new guidelines announcing that some people should be wearing masks indoors, even if they are vaccinated. While two doses of the shot is still the best protection against COVID-19, breakthrough infections are still possible. This advice comes as Illinois schools are deciding whether masks should be mandatory when students return to class this fall.
Our guests talked about these developments, the Delta and Gamma variants and answered calls and text messages from parents.
