Preventing accidental cannabis poisoning in kids
According to a study published by the American Academy of Pediatrics, there’s been a 1,375% increase in pediatric edible cannabis exposure over the past five years. It’s prompted pediatricians to urge parents and cannabis dispensaries alike to use caution to prevent children from being further exposed to edible cannabis.
To talk about the study and preventing children from accidentally ingesting edible cannabis, we were joined by the medical director of the Illinois Poison Center.
