Illinois is beginning to ease restrictions around COVID-19, and last month the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released new masking guidelines, and at least one of the vaccines has been approved for children 12 and over.
The 21st spoke with Illinois Director of Public Health Ngozi Ezike about the new masking guidelines, vaccination rates and the state’s path to reopening.
