Incoming Illinois Chief Justice Mary Theis on judicial nonpartisanship and her history with the legal system
Illinois will soon have one of the highest percentages of women on its high court in the nation. Leading the court will be incoming Chief Justice Mary Jane Theis, taking over from Anne Burke.
She joined The 21st to talk about the struggle to keep the court out of partisan politics, plus some of her own judicial history.
