Harsh winter means poor Illinois peach crop

When you think of summer foods, peaches may come to mind. Illinois, which traditionally grows hundreds of thousands of acres worth of peaches, is having a shortage of peaches, which made the fruit more expensive. Today, we discuss how the unexpected harsh winter from December has disrupted Illinois peach growing season.
