Illinois Storm Chasers

It’s severe weather season in the Midwest and for many of us, that means monitoring the weather and trying to avoid dangers. Some people, however, prefer to head straight into the danger. Storm chasers like from the iconic 90’s film Twister, get in their vehicles, gear in tow and race down country roads all to get an up close view at one of nature’s most violent weather events.
The 21st was joined by two storm chasers to talk about modern-day storm chasing.
