As part of our Friday shows, we're ending the week with an Illinois news roundup. Our stories included McLean County seeing a major increase in gun-related suicides. Plus, two Bloomington athletes won medals for the Special Olympic World Summer Games and an historic landmark in Normal being restored. In the Quad Cities, new mooring cells are being built along the Mississippi River and repeated requests for federal assistance after the collapse of a building in Davenport, Iowa.
