Illinois native reflects on making movies
Stephen Feder was born and raised in Illinois, and he attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In May 2022, he was back on campus, addressing new graduates from the U of I’s College of Media — the same program where he earned a bachelor’s degree 20 years ago. Feder is a producer with T-Street Productions, director Rian Johnson’s film studio, best known for the movie “Knives Out,” from 2019.
Feder was a vice president of film development at Lucasfilm — the studio behind the “Star Wars” franchise. And he’s currently a producer with T-Street Productions, the film studio started by Rian Johnson, and is best known for the 2019 film “Knives Out.”
