The oncoming winter might usually mean turning up the thermostat, turning on the lights sooner thanks to shorter days and staying in the hot shower water just a little longer, but with rising energy costs this year, people are changing how they use their power this winter.
To discuss how energy rates actually get calculated, how that affects your bills, and what you can do to keep bills lower, we were joined by the representatives of Citizens Utility Board Illinois and the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
