Illinois has gained a reputation as a state protecting access to gender-affirming care. We discuss what could change under President Trump's second term in the third part of our series on how Illinois is preparing for "Four More Years".
2024 was a record-breaking year for bills across the country that target transgender people -- many of which deal with healthcare. Twenty-six states have passed bans on gender-affirming care for transgender children and teenagers and now, Republicans will soon control the presidency, the House, and the Senate.
