Republican Rep Wins First Round In Fight Against Stay-at-Home Order
A judge in Clay County, Illinois has issued a preliminary ruling in favor of a man who challenged Gov. J.B. Pritzker's stay-at-home order.
The ruling means that for now, state Rep. Darren Bailey, a Republican from Xenia, is not bound by the governor's COVID orders.
News of the ruling broke during Pritzker's daily news conference, and he condemned the lawsuit and the ruling.
